Students of Hogwarts:
As we, the staff, are quite sure that you recall, last week there was a bit of an accident in the Great Hall. The fight that ensued was rather disgraceful and is not something that we expect of the fine students of this institution. Because of this, the professors and the administration of the school have worked together in order to come up with a proper solution to this problem.
It has become abundantly clear that there is a supreme lack of inter-House unity in this school and it has been agreed upon that something needs to be done about it before it only gets worse. The solution for this couples with that of which we are using for the problem with the food fight.
This weekend every student will be required to spend both days - from 9am until 6pm - in the company of another student from another House. Below is a list of each student and who they will be paired with. Both students will follow the other's daily routine on Saturday and then follow the other's on Sunday. Saturday will be devoted to the first student that is listed and then Sunday to the second. You will spend this time getting to know and understand the other student.
Once this excerise is over, you will then be required to write a short essay answering a few questions (as listed below) about the student. This essay will be written in your journal that the Headmaster provided for you at the start of the school year and must be public. This has been approved by the administration and Ministry, as this isn't being graded and is not a formal assignment and more of a character building experience.
